They are so informed and actually CARE about the animals/homes theyll be going to. Very good quality plants and amazing fish. I'd HIGHLY recommend coming here for any fish related needs. I just got a gorgeous male betta with some mico crabs and pygmy corys. Im very excited about this purchase and will absolutely come here again!! Edit: UPDATE on my betta id purchased, hes thriving and has changed to a more striking blue color!! The bottom pic is day 1, the top is his most recent. I didnt even realize. Hes so healthy and I highly reccomend any betta purchase to be done here

The fish were spectacular and well priced for how well bred they are! The shop looks like it’s gonna be small but it holds a huge supply of fish, tank materials, beautiful wood, foods , and plants. The staff there was amazing i think the manager or owner was the man we had helping us and he was the sweetest !

Enjoyed my visit there. The man working there (assuming it was the owner) was extremely helpful and eager to converse with. The fish selection isn’t the most extensive, however the tanks were well maintained. I’ll definitely be keeping in touch with the store. Update 7/27: wasn’t aware that the owner had been out of town on vacation so hence why the stock was low. Went in today and the selection is much more extensive! Update 10/17: I’ve purchased 6 orandas from Darren and they’ve all grown well and have been healthy. I’ll continue to frequent Petworld!

I bought a bi color saltwater fish from here an hes thriving along with i was informed that the location soon will have corals an more fish....due to a fire that mishap ,the location is in a quick recovery an the team all was helpful. Will be making this our store for corals an freshwater pet stop!

I got amazing customer service! He is sweet and very knowledgeable. He is knowledgeable on the different species of fish/shrimp either if it’s fresh water or saltwater fish and we can’t forget the plants! The fish store and fish look very well maintained and worth going to see what they have. Totally worth coming back!

This is hands down my FAVORITE fish store in Fort Worth. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful. I always end up staying way longer than I planned because we’re just chatting about tanks, plants, and fish. He always has new and unique plant varieties, an entire wall of driftwood to choose from, and both saltwater and freshwater fish. Every single tank is crystal clear, and the fish are visibly healthy and happy. What really sets this place apart is the service—if I ever ask for something specific, he orders it for me immediately and lets me know when it comes in. You can tell he truly cares about his store and his customers.

I stopped by today looking for aquatic plants and was seriously impressed. The selection and overall quality of the plants were excellent — everything looked healthy and well cared for. What stood out the most though was the owner, Darin. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell he cares about both the animals and the customers, and he took the time to answer questions without making me feel rushed. That kind of attitude makes a big difference. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this shop to anyone into aquariums.

Darin (owner) is a one stop shop of valuable knowledge and genuine kindness - always welcomes you into the store and has all kinds of unique aquatic fish. The store seems to go on past the confines of the building - if you need anything .. come see this aquatic wonder man for all your needs! We will Make the drive back every time - goodbye big box stores!

I have to say, this is the best aquarium store I’ve visited in Fort Worth. The place is full of hidden gems, and many of the good pieces are tucked away in corners—you really need to ask the owner and he will show you. For example, the spider wood I posted was only $60, which is an amazing deal. 🤩(I didn’t take it, it is available for now). The owner gets new shipments every week, and the plants I photographed were all freshly arrived that day—no yellowing, no damage, just perfect condition😉 We came in looking for decorations for our new 29-gallon tank, and it’s surprisingly hard to find large, natural-looking pieces that work well for creating a real ecosystem. Most stores either don’t carry big items or only have artificial ones. This shop is completely different. The owner is incredibly skilled and can help set up your tank based on your style. We spent a little over $100 and got a customizable rock structure that can be rearranged so the fish have plenty of hiding spots. It was absolutely worth it🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 Another thing fish keepers care about a lot is water quality, and this shop’s water is excellent. The fish are active and healthy—not like some places where the water looks murky and the fish seem like they’ve been sitting there forever. Here, you can tell everything is well cared for. The prices are also fantastic. The owner doesn’t hire extra staff or waste any space, and because of that, he doesn’t push unnecessary overhead costs onto customers. Every corner of the shop is filled with good stuff, and it genuinely feels like treasure hunting while you browse. Overall, this is the store I recommend the most and the one I’ll keep coming back to. Great prices, great products, healthy fish, and an owner who really knows what he’s doing. Definitely worth a visit！！
